Cookie Policy

Last updated: July 14, 2026

This Cookie Policy explains how HalalQR uses cookies and similar technologies when you use our platform (the "Service"). It should be read together with our Privacy Policy.

1. What Are Cookies?

Cookies are small text files stored on your device when you visit a website. They help the site remember your actions and preferences, such as keeping you signed in.

2. How We Use Cookies

We use the following categories of cookies:

  • Strictly necessary. Required for the Service to function. This includes the session cookie and the auth_token cookie that keeps restaurant staff securely signed in to the admin area, and the cross-site request forgery (CSRF) token that protects forms.
  • Functional. Remember choices you make, such as your current restaurant context, to provide a smoother experience.
  • Analytics. Help us understand how the Service is used — which pages are slow, where a menu is hard to read, where a booking is abandoned — so we can make it faster and easier to use. This includes our own menu view counts and cookies set by Yandex Metrika (such as _ym_uid and _ym_d), the analytics service described in our Privacy Policy. We do not use them to identify you personally, and what you type into the reservation form is hidden from our analytics recordings.

We do not use cookies for third-party advertising.

3. Managing Cookies

Most browsers let you view, block, or delete cookies through their settings. Note that blocking strictly necessary cookies will prevent you from signing in and using the admin area of the Service. Diners viewing a public menu can browse with only essential cookies.

4. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Cookie Policy as our use of cookies evolves. Updates will be posted here with a revised "Last updated" date.
